What PaxMed does

PaxMed helps users compare medicine prices and diagnostic tests, place delivery orders (MVP), and set purchase reminders. PaxMed is not a medical advice service.

This policy explains the personal and technical information we process to operate those features securely and reliably.

Our commitment

Patient data is used to fulfil bookings and provide service insights — not sold or used for unrelated marketing without explicit consent.

Information we collect

Only what we need to authenticate you, fulfil orders, and keep the platform reliable.

Account data

Phone number used for OTP sign-up and login.

Order data

Delivery address, delivery option, ordered items, and order status events.

Reminders

Reminder schedules and optional notes you create.

Prescription uploads

If you upload an image or PDF for OCR, we process it to extract medicine/test suggestions. Always verify results before ordering.

Technical data

Basic logs for reliability, support, and fraud prevention. This may include product usage such as screens visited, searches, and key actions (for example add-to-cart or checkout), retained for a limited period (typically up to 90 days).

Diagnostics bookings

Details needed to schedule home collection or lab visits with partner providers for your selected tests.

How we use information

Processing is tied to operating and improving the PaxMed service.

Authentication

To authenticate you and maintain your session.

Orders & tracking

To create and fulfil delivery orders and show tracking history.

Reminders & messaging

To trigger reminders from your inputs (e.g. tablets/day) and send WhatsApp updates if integration is enabled and you use it.

We may also use data to improve search relevance and data quality (for example, anomaly warnings during imports).

Data processing (DPDP Act)

Patient data (name, contact, health records, test results) shall be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the Patient’s Booking and providing insight using AI and shall not be shared with third parties, sold, or used for marketing purposes without the Patient’s explicit consent.

You are asked to accept this notice when you sign in.

Consent checkpoint

Acceptance at login records that you understand how booking-related patient data is processed on PaxMed.

Sharing, security & retention

Operational sharing only — with safeguards and limited retention.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to operate the service (for example, messaging providers for WhatsApp updates, or infrastructure providers). We do not sell personal information.

Security

We use standard security practices (secure sessions, least-privilege access, and transport encryption where applicable). No system is 100% secure; please use the service responsibly.

Retention

We retain account, order, and reminder data as long as needed to provide the service and comply with obligations. Product activity logs (screens, searches, key actions) are retained for a shorter period (about 90 days) unless needed longer for security or legal reasons. You may request deletion of your account data.
