Medicines once dispensed and delivered are generally non-returnable and non-refundable, except in limited cases below.
Policies
Pharmaceutical and diagnostic products follow strict regulations. This page explains when cancellation or refund may be possible — and how PaxMed coordinates with partners.
Orders placed through the PaxMed platform may be cancelled by the user prior to confirmation and processing by the dispensing partner pharmacy or diagnostic partner.
Once an order has been accepted and processing, dispatch, or phlebotomist assignment has commenced, cancellation may not be permitted — particularly for prescription medicines, temperature-sensitive products, or products subject to statutory restrictions on return under applicable pharmaceutical or healthcare laws.
PAXMED HEALTHTECH PRIVATE LIMITED and the partner pharmacy / lab reserve the right to cancel an order for prescription invalidity, unavailability of stock, pricing errors, regulatory concerns, suspected misuse, or any circumstance that renders fulfilment unlawful or impracticable.
If something is wrong on delivery (wrong item, expired, damaged), report it promptly with photos or other evidence so the partner can verify and help.
Regulatory rules mean most dispensed medicines cannot be returned.
Medicines once dispensed and delivered are generally non-returnable and non-refundable, except in limited cases below.
Materially different item, expired at delivery, damaged, tampered, defective, or unfit for consumption at receipt — reported within a reasonable period with evidence.
Refunds go to the original payment method within a commercially reasonable timeframe after partner verification.
Delivery charges are ordinarily non-refundable. Where cancellation or return is due to a dispensing error, incorrect or defective product, or a fulfilment failure not caused by the user, delivery charges may be refunded with the product value.
No refund where non-delivery or return arises from incorrect information you provided, refusal to accept delivery without valid cause, or failure to comply with prescription requirements.
Lab bookings follow partner and payment-provider rules.
Cancelled or unfulfilled diagnostics bookings (where eligible) are coordinated through PaxMed support and the partner / payment gateway.
Once a sample has been collected or a report process has started, refunds may not be available except as required by law or partner policy.
Slot timing and partner cancellation rules are also covered under Shipping & Cancellations.
PaxMed’s role in facilitating refunds is limited to coordinating with the dispensing partner pharmacy or lab and payment service providers.
Ultimate responsibility for product quality, dispensing accuracy, and sample collection rests with the concerned partner in accordance with applicable law.
